Single Stromberg CD150 on 1147 engine

Hi,
Amongst my collection of oddities I have an adaptor which will fit a Stromberg CD150 onto the standard herald 1200 or 12/50 manifold. Today I assembled this with an appropriate carb so I could check clearances under the bonnet of a 1200. No problems with clearance, but the obvious complication with fitting will be how to connect the throttle and choke cables. It won't be difficult to fabricate some bracketry, but I was wondering how it was done originally when these conversions were marketed.
If anyone can help with photographs or scanned brochure images I'd be very grateful,
Cheers,
Bill.
