Hanging a twin exhaust

Posted By : Peter Hall, 08-Sep-2005, 08:21pm

I've fitted a new engine and exhaust to my Herald, but I'm having difficulty working out how to hang the back boxes.

I've improvised a hanger so that I can get around but over the last week it has bent and my shiney new back boxes are inches from the ground.

Does anyone know a good way of solving this problem, or can I buy a fitting kit from somewhere?

There is one vertical loop that sticks up from the back of each sillencer, but these loops must be very close to the spare wheel well, or the exhaust will hang too low, any ideas?

Cheers, Pete
