I thought I should get hold of some ramps hoping it would be a wee bit quicker than trundling a trolley jack round the car and preventing damage to my nice
new underseal on the chassis from the axle stands (despite using plywood pieces between chassis and stands). However, as seen from the attached pic the
exhaust fouls the ramp so, can Heralds be reversed onto such ramps? or is my exhaust's position in want of some fettling?
Exhausted,
Graham.

Hi Graham,
Ramps can be difficult, but your exhaust is mounted at an angle which is making life more difficult still. The welded tab to which the hanger is bolted
should be absolutely vertical,
Cheers,
Bill.

Thanks Bill for your prompt and as always expert advice. (Sorry about the pic being so large). Now that I have treated myself to a digital camera I
should use it to take pics of jobs before and after fettling.....for example, perhaps I should have taken a few pics before recently removing the
exhaust, to ensure it was refitted correctly!
Cheers,
Graham
