Ignition upgrade

Hi

Can anyone recommend a good way of upgrading the Herald 1200's ignition to remove the rotor arm and give a more powerful spark?

I have been looking at Lumenition, but I don't know anyone who has installed it, so any comments or ideas are most welcome.

I have used MSD ignitions http://www.msdignition.com on race cars particularly successfully. MSD (multiple spark discharge) does what it says on the box and rather than one spark pulse per firing stroke, it delivers multiple pulses ensuring that there are a number of flame fronts propagating from the spark plug and helping more complete combustion of the fuel. It also therefore reduces the percentage of unburnt fuel with each stroke.

What other modifications can you recomend here?

**I am not connected in any way to these manufacturers**

Thanks,
sav
