Hi,
I hope someone out there can come to my aid again...
I bought a second hand panel for my 13/60 convertible which has been hand painted in what appears to be gloss paint, or something similar. Thing is,
underneath the horrible hand painted effect, the valence is actually the colour of my car (tasteful jasmine!). I can chip or peel off the "new paint" with
my finger nails and the original paint underneath seems to be nice, at least so far. If I can find a way of removing this top layer it will save me having
to have the panel repainted to match my car. I also tried a hairdryer on it, which seems to make it easier to peel off, but it is a very long slow process.
Does anyone know of a product which will strip this top layer of paint without ruining the finish underneath?
Thanks in advance!
Loraine

no such thing a a quick way to do what you want, slow and careful or strip it all off in one go and start again
no short cuts to short cutting that one...
