I canÂ’t remember the correct sequence for putting my 1200Â’s front-end back together. Is
it valance first, then over-riders, then rubber bumpers?

Yes. Loosely fit the valence first, fit the overriders, centralise the valence to the overriders and the contours of the bonnet then tighten up. The
rubber bumpers will go on easily enough around the overriders.
It's too easy to damage either the valence or the overriders trying to fit the valence second.

Don't think you can fit the centre rubber to the valance with the overriders in place. That could be fitted to the valance before fitting to the
car.
It is easier to bolt up the overriders without the valance in position, but the right combination of bits from the socket set should find a way to
do it with the valance in position.
