From talking to a friend I understand I need all three bits, including a hook??

Hi Aaron,
There is a receptacle which mounts on the B-post below the main lock assembly. This corresponds to a hook which mounts on the back face of the door, this is retained by two screws through the door, a steel "U" section plate with two captive nuts recives the screws and provides some reinforcement.
The B-post receptacles are the easiest to find, the two parts which mount on the door are often discarded when doors get swapped with the saloon type. Full sets often turn up on ebay, they seem to be amongst the unusual items which fetch less on ebay than through the usual Triumph brekers.....
