Hi All: As a new Herald owner and club member I would like to know the colors available in 65 for all the Heralds. All the sales brochures and books I have
bought have no mention of color choice. Mine is light or baby blue as we call it here but seems the correct name is wedgewood. Also paint numbers for
DuPont and like mix would be helpful. When I paint mine I want it to be the correct original color. Anyone got a chart? :S

Hi Bill,
I don't have a complete breakdown of colours, but I have picked up a few codes over the years. Wedgwood Blue is Triumph code 26, PPG/Dizler 12873. The
Triumph 26 code should be recognised by ICI, never tried myself though. Don't be convinced by anyone telling you that the colour is the same as Powder
Blue - this is an earlier colour which though similar, is quite noticeably different when compared directly. It was replaced by Wedgwood Blue in
1963.
Also note that there are two spellings actively used by Standard-Triumph - "Wedgwood" and "Wedgewood" both appear in different literature. The same
typo may have been perpetuated through the codes of paint suppliers, so make sure both spellings are checked by anyone searching a database for a
code,
Cheers,
Bill.
