Hi all
I re-painted my sills whilst off the car. Used hammerite number 1 rust beater, two coats as per instructions on the tin, followed by cellulose spray (from a can). Problem is, the top coat has cracked and split, as per attached image. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Yep - this looks like a reaction between incompatible coats of paint. Rub down and recoat with ordinary grey primer over the Hammerite primer then respray it again.. there's less chance of the standard primer having this reaction.
