Does anyone have or know where I can get the seals between the "c" post and the rear wing on an estate, I have asked all the usual people (Mike Dolphin,
Canley Classics etc) and they all say they havn't seen them for years. Does anybody have them?? If not, are Herald estate owners out there willing to buy
some if someone is willing to remanufacture them ?? Rarebits4classics have had rear 1/4 glass seals remade, if we can get enough people interested maybe
they can gets these remade. This is one of the bits specific to the estate and in my mind its spoils an otherwise excellent rebuild for the sake of two
seals which should cost no more than £10/15. Here's hoping!!

I have the part finished pattern for the C-post seals sat here with me right now. As there is a very limited market for these they will be produced in
short run moulds rather than as conventional injection moulded parts. The cost is expected to be around £25-30 per pair, total production
is expected to be around 30 pairs, dependant on the life of the tooling.
Cheers,
Bill Davies

Thank you rarebits4cars!! The next question is when are you likely to have them for sale? I have an estate that is going to need them in the next
3/4 months. It also sounds like a bargain to me!!

I'm hoping to have the tooling completed before the end of the year, so January looks likely as long as there are no unforseen problems,
Cheers,
Bill.

At last!! Having been hoarding one of these rubbers for years, brand new and unused, I saw the other side I needed at Stafford two
years ago for £10!! For some strange reason I didn't buy it but it's the only one I ever saw and believe me, I've been
looking. Put me down for a pair too, Bill!!

with reference to the herald "c post" seals for the estate you are hopefully having re-manufactured. do you have any more news on,when/if you will have
them?. i hope to have my car painted by the end of febuary, and would like to have these seals as they would obviously need to be fitted before the roof
is bolted down. i have purchased your re-manufactured rear side window seals already and hope the c post seals are as good as these. heres hoping, and
thanks for your efforts in keeping "our cars" on the road. happy new year.

Very good timing! I've spent the last couple of days completing the masters. These still need to be turned into female tooling but I hope this will
be well in hand by next weekend, the final product being available towards the end of January.
Cheers,
Bill Davies.

I'm still trying to get them done in time for Stoneleigh, but in all honesty it's going to be touch and go. We're on stand 252, so drop by and say
hello - if we've got them I'll put a pair to one side for you,
Cheers,
Bill.

Thanks for that, I will pop by and see you. If you don't have them then, do you know when you may have them?
