Hi All
I not sure if anyone can help but I am having difficulty in removing my steering wheel from my 13/60. I have removed the nut but I think it has ceased onto
the shaft. I don't what to damage the column itself I'm sure there is no other screw or bolt which i have forgotten. It's a non original steering wheel
possibly off a Spitfire. I really want to get this wheel off as I have bought an excellent Moto Lita wheel and boss off eBay for a good price.
Regards
Jason

Replace the nut loosely, put a block of wood over the end to avoid damage. Hit the block of wood with a 4lb lump hammer while an assistant sits in the
drivers seat pulling the wheel towards him/her. You don't need to strike too hard as a heavy hammer will have a substantial momentum - far safer than
swinging a small hammer about wildly near your assistant's face!
A few blows will be enough to shock the wheel free. Undo the nut ionce mere and the wheel should come away fairly easily,
Cheers,
Bill.

or try a gear puller with the faces suitably softened with cardboard or old beer towels...
