When refitting front lower trunnions should they be screwed up as far as they can go (thus severely deforming rubber seal) and unwound for movement or
should they be screwed until they first touch rubber seal?
Many thanks.

A good tip that I have used in the past, is to count the number of turns required to remove the old trunnion from the vertical link, and then screw the
new one up the same amount of turns.
Otherwise, they are usually about 14 full turns on to the link - this should make the trunnion meet the face of the seal.
Any of the good traders should be able to give you some sound advice if you are unsure.
Good luck,
Ian B.
