Any tricks of the trade for removing rear wheel hubs? I've just bust the leg of a 10 ton hydraulic puller on one, despite leaving some WD40 on overnight. I
know that the special tool is available from the TSSC but £65 seems a lot for 2 jobs! Is it of any use to heat the hub? PS I had already
successfully removed 2 hubs (one from a bent drive shaft), but this one remains stubbornly in place!

Stephen,
I have seperated about a dozen rear hubs with the hub puller sold by the Club with a 100% success rate.
If it seems an expensive outlay, try contacting your local TSSC Area Organiser. In our area (Hants and Berks) we have a small selection of specialist
tools for hire.

Thanks, Craig,
I guess the best solution is often the simplest one!
