I had a gearbox failure near Sutton, Surrey once and the AA man was a TSSC member, another time I was queing at Dover to get on a car ferry and the car marshaller was a TSSC member.
Another time, I was walking to the station at Earl's Court, after a day at work and met Mac Reynolds, (ex-TSSC Vitesse Secretary), and his lady, outside the underground station where they told me they were emigrating to NZ.

I recall a TSSC member that I know, telling me how he knocked a man off his bicycle when driving his Vitesse, and the cyclist was concerned that he had dented the bonnet with his head!
Turns out that the hapless cyclist was also a TSSC member.
I told my friend that we didn't have enough members yet to go round knocking them off their bikes!
