Hi All,

Just about to remount the body of my Mk3 and am using a body mounting kit purchased from a supplier of most things GT6. Thing is, it doesn't seem to have as many rubber pads and aluminium spacers in it as I took off the car last year. It is likely that the body has been off before so I have no gaurantee that it was correct when I pulled it apartso, does any one know exactly what pads, spacers etc there should be and where exactly they are all positioned? I expect a detailed parts catalogue would give this information but I don't have one of those either!

Hi Richard,
This has been puzzling me too, but wrt my spitfire. The concensus seems to be, only use a single rubber spacer, and if you have to adjust the body, use more or less aluminium ones. All very vague I'm afraid.
The most definative I've managed to find came via James Paddock which is a page from the Moss Europe catalogue, and is to be viewed as a starting point.
The positive approach, apparantly, is to remind yourself that the tub is in one piece, not like the Herald or Vitesse!!

Hada look and it clears up a few things. I've also found and ordered a parts catalogue on CDRom from the Club Shop which should help too.
