  Kean, Don't know if this helps, but referring to my spit 1500,
  1) No, flexi pipe onto backplate, wheer there is a braket, then solid into cylinder
  2) The brackets are welded to the chassis. see photo of green chassis

      Nice job Ian.
      
      Thanks for that. The 4 way is where I thought it should be, but the 3 way at the back is different, I do not have the parts welded on.
      
      The rear is different with Rotoflex, so maybe this is why.

        My rear end, yes, in case anyone points out, I fitted the chassis extensions for the dampers today.
