GT6 mk3.
Back in January, as some of you may know I took my car down to Poole for a respray. I got within about two miles of the spray shop, stopped at a roundabout
to give way to traffic and was promptly rear ended. The damage wasn't too severe, it needed a new rear bumper, new valance, lights and stretching back into
place the chassis took most of the force but luckily didn't twist. Anyway it came back from the garage looking wonderful in an amazing time of just three
weeks.
Today, driving back from Tetbury I decided that instead of going home on the M4, which would be very boring, I'd go back on the A4. I took it nice and
easy, just cruising along at 50 or 60mph Everything went well till I got to the first Chippenham roundabout, I drove onto the roundabout and stopped on it
because my exit wasn't clear, and the moron in his Daepoo followed me on to the roundabout and decided to use me as a crash barrier. Again he hit me square
on, again causing nearly exactly the same symptons. Once again the car was drivable, so I drove it home and it's now sat on the drive looking very sad.
I'm going to get one of those third brake lights which I will fit to the top of my rear screen. Maybe then people will see my car.
I shall post images of damage as soon as i've taken some!
Very upset and annoyed ollie.

Sorry to hear you have been hit again ollie. I am sure there is something about the drivers of modern vehicles that makes them blind to classic
cars.
Very good idea to fit a high level brake light.

i'v had several near misses and one minor nudge on the back bumper and each time the offending driver gave the same excuse, "I was trying to read
the badge as i wanted to know what the car was" maybe a flashing neon sign saying "its a GT6 now back off" may be more efective.

I was thinking the same thing, you can get those scrolling messages they sometimes have at discos. I think I'll wire one in at the same time as
a high level brake light, "Stop You ****" or something!! Hopefully the buggers 'l see me then!
