Hi all!
After driving back from Le mans on the tail of my mates cobra replica at 110mph!
only to be told when we stopped for fuel that, he'd only been doing 85mph according to his sat nav!!(doh)
Im now trying to work out exactly Which speedo I have fitted before I set about trying to get things more accurate!
I have Dtype o/drive fitted, along with a new 3:89 diff.
The numbers on the front of my speedo are...SN6203/42a 1152
Ive spoken to another mk 1 owner and his are SN6203/04 980
So, can anyone tell me If I have an o/drive or non o/drive speedo??
or any other mk1 owners tell me what the numbers on their speedo's are??
I know our speedo's arent the most accurate things in the world, but I'd just like to know what ive got??

Update,if its of any interest to anyone!
Ive been looking on the net at speedo numbers, and it looks like the numbers to the right on the speedo face
(under the trip digits) is the one that shows the gearing;
ie;
1152= 3.89 diff
980= 3.27 diff
unless anyone knows more??
