Can anyone advise me please where I can get a replacement speedo cable from to connect my O/D box to a Smiths "Classic" magnolia faced speedo.
The standard GT6 cable seems to have a threaded fitting at the speedo end whereas my speedo has a single groove cut in the collar to take a clip.
I suspect too that the square section at the end of the cable may have a different cross section.

There has been recent discussion elsewhere on this board about special cables. The consensus seemed to be that Speedy Spares was your best bet for a
specially made up cable which is probably what you need unless some other 4 or 6 cylinder Triumph used a speedo with a clip fastening, in which case
hopefully the cable from such vehicle would fit your car.)

Holdens supply the cable when you buy the gauges from them, so its possible they sell them seperate
