Reconditioning The Matrix?

Hi

Removed the heater unit and stripped it whilst i had the hoses off. The inside of the box is pretty rusty and i suspect the heater matrix is leaking.

Does anyone know if you can have just the internal matrix reconditioned like a normal radiator?

Hi Andy yes you can get the heater matrix reconditioned. I have done several vitesse and herald as I am in the radiatior trade. And sold them on ebay the whole unit that is. Take it to your local rad shop. If you get stuck I can help you.

    Hi Andy
    Be careful when you go to Sercks as I used to work for them, they are the biggest crooks in the rad trade and the biggest bodgers. They do every thing cheap but sell at the highest price.
    Rad takes about two hours to re-condition heater matrix an hour, depending on how bad it is. Good luck and all the best, you know how to get hold of me if you need help.
