I've been looking to purchase a GT6 as a first classic car. Yesterday I went to look at a Mk3 for sale on ebay. The car seemed to be in reasonably good
condition, with a reconditioned engine and gearbox and a new clutch. The only concern I had was that it had, at some time, had a front end, nearside,
accident, probably several years in the past. The chassis had repair plates welded in, and to my untrained eye seemed to be solid. However, the rear of the
bonnet's wheel arch came down about 1" forward of the sill. The gaps around the headlamps were also uneven.
This was the first GT6 I had driven, but it seemed to drive well, not pulling either way etc.
The car in question can be found here:

Should I be overly concerned by this old damage, or could it still be worth A2+ type money?
Thanks for any help in advance.
