Im probably 'exhausting' (no pun intended) and old topic. but what the hell!!

I have finally got the body tub off and I am now stripping down the chassis, removing the suspension, rear axle, diff etc etc...... I plan to first repair the chassis then clean it up and re-spray it red (to match the new car colour). I will then recondition/replace the components and stick those back on.

My questions are: What is the best paint for a chassis?? I hear Hammerite is not to clever.

Also, after I have cleaned up the diff etc, I was thinking I should spray them black, using the 'Engine Enamel' which I used to respray the engine(funnily enough), would this be OK??
