    Hmm. I looked at this before I posted the message, and it's not really much help.
    I guess the red and black wires are +ve and -ve, and the other two go between the coil and the dizzy. But which way round is not clear.
    
    I might just try it to see what happens - at worst all I can do is blow the thing up!

      I had a quick search around online and couldn't find anything about them... lots of cars with them on but that isn't a great deal of help.
      
      The only thing i can think of, apart from trying it, is emailing the garage thats selling the car with one on. http://www.beechhillgarage.com/detail.asp?Document...
      
      The worst they can do is not answer.
