Electronic ignition

Couldn't make it to Stoneleigh this weekend, so I thought I'd do the next best thing instead, and spend the time tinkering with the car!

Does anyone have advice on buying electronic ignition (aldon, petronix, lumenition etc)? I have a remy delco dizzy on my GT6 mk2 and want to fit an optical system, but
which is the best one and where is the best place to buy (price/quality etc)? What should I expect to pay?

The Pertonix Ignitor is well respected and sold here more expensively under a well known brand name. Go to -

and get Pertronics at Stateside (original) prices instead of the UK "pound per dollar" type mark-up. Their tech support guys could teach us a lesson in customer service as well! Nuff said.

  I agree with George, I bought mine from the same place and got excellent service at far lesss cost than buying from the UK. Not only that but they're warehoused in the UK so they arrive in a couple of days at UK postage rates. I've also been very pleased with the result as I've noticed a significantly smother engine since it was fitted.
  
  I don't know why the States can sell these almost 50% cheaper than in the UK, presumably because of the tax laws and exchange rates?
