I've just received this email from a guy who got my address from the forum but who's not a member (I don't think). And he reminded me of a query I've got.
I'll let you read the message first...

Subject : Spark plugs
Hi, sorry for any bother - I found you contact on a Triumph message board.
I was wondering if you could help me out - I have recently purchased the Aldon
Ignitor elec' ignition and flame thrower coil for my 1968 GT6 yet im unsure of
what gap to use with my spark plugs and which make for that matter. Could you
recommend any particular plug?
No problem if you cannot help,
Thank you for any advice.
Tom Tonge
Now I'm not really sure about these points having ordered my flamethrower over a month ago and still not having received it (from the club shop of all
places! I know they've sent it out but not got a card or anything to say they've tried to deliver, anyone from the club want to help?!). Tom does have a
point though, the company advertises that you can have larger gaps between the plugs but...
how big? and what type of plugs are best anyone?
This is something that I have no clue about I'm afraid!
