Anything and everything GT6.

Went out in my gt yesterday,and it wouldnt go into overdrive at at all !!
Im guessing its electrical fault as it suddenly just stopped working?

So far I have checked voltage coming out of the relay, which was ok
Then I took the g/box tunnel off and removed the cover on the side of the solenoid.

When I switch the ignition & flick the overdrive stalk, The solenoid does pull the operating arm back!
I also checked the adjustment by inserting a 4.5mm twist drill into hole in operating arm,and everything seems to line up!

Could it still be the solenoid?? im not sure how to check how many amps its drawing etc!

Would the next step now be to go for a drive with the cover off and see if the solenoid is holding the lever back once the engine is running?

The o/drive and g/box were re built at canley last year, so i would have thought that alls still ok inside?

If the solenoid does seem ok, then is the next step to remove/clean the relief valve, operating valve, etc ??

Any thought as to what to try next would be very helpfull!!
