I have been collecting vaious bits and pieces together for when I finally get my Mk111 on the road. When this happens I would like to be able to have the
option of taking my two small children along on the odd local jaunt and have acquired both the back and base of an occasional rear seat at separate times
as well as lap belts to provide at least some means of protection.
However, this is all a bit moot if I can't get something that will pass off as the brackets to which the back of the rear seats bolt when in the upright
position. I believe there are also stops for the back to rest on when flat, but don't know that these are really esseantial (unless someone can tell me
otherwise).
Now, I know that there are more than likely no originals around that might be 'spare' anywhere and I have been to events like Stoneleigh, Gaydon and
Staffford and discussed with other GT6 owners. Some have made their own up.
I am, sad to tell, one of those people who love the cars but were not born with the wherewithall to do all the things necessary to keep them running and up
to scratch. I took photos of some brackets 'in situ' in the cars that they were in and have these for a mate of mine who might be able to knock up some
replicas from sheet metal.
What I really need are better photos and dimensions for reproduction purposes or, if anyone has any catches going, I'll pay whatever it takes (within
reason!) to get hold of some or, if someone is handy with sheet metal and tin snips, then I would be happy to pay accordingly for some catches that would
be within someone's capability of knocking up.
If anyone can help put the last piece in this particular jigsaw puzzle, I would be incredibly grateful.

Tim,
Are you going to Stafford?, If so I'd be happy to let you measure up the rear seat brackets in my GT6, they are the Stanpart originals as I was lucky
enough to pick up a complete rear seat kit with all the correct brackets and fixings.

Hi Andy
Don't know about Stafford yet. Made it to Stoneleigh as it's nearer. The wife's trying to book a holiday and that might clash with Stafford and, as
I went the last two years, I don't get a say in matters this year. If I swing it, I may well take you up on your kind offer.
