Anything and everything GT6.

Hi all,

I've just started stripping down my GT6 Mk3 seats in preparation for a re-trim as the squab foam had pretty much disintegrated.

As you can see from the pic, someone has previously attempted a re-trim by taking the seat vinyl from another and gluing it over the original! As one can see, the original seat used perforated flutes whereas the material on top has the plain ones - although i haven't stripped the other seat yet, it also has plain flutes.

So, what was the original trim spec? The 'bodged' seat may not have been original and the plain fluted cover was taken from the original seats...

I could speculate for ever! After a little web research I have come to the conclusion that all Mk3 GT6s used perforated flutes, whereas plain was available on earlier models. Can anyone confirm this?
