This kind of question has been asked loads of time, and yes, I've read all the relevant threads, and now I'm even more confused!
I'm about to change my original f/f w/w for alloys. But which blinkin ones? I've checked all the websites around, and looked at the prices too. I like the
look of the minilites (the photo of the yellow gt6 on the front cover of Rimmers gt6 catalogue looks good) but I want some sound advice as to what size to
get, esp. given that I've got to get new/secondhand hub assemblies too (does this mean I've got more choice?)
I'd like a wide enough set that doesn't mean I've got to modify the suspension etc. I def. don't want the wheels to stick out from the arches. The tyres
need to be spot on, with the right aspect ratio. Not sure which is the best set of tyres to buy though.
Where is the best place to buy?
Advice would be great here - really want to knock this on the head and order.
Cheers,
Mark

it would seem that people recommend 175/70 on 13 inch wheels for the best compromise in handling/useability.
i believe this would not require any mods, and they went very well on both my heralds and my spitfires.
cheers Calvin.
