I didn't get any of these when I bought the GT6 but I got 8 when I bought the PI. These are all spare since it has alloys, but the hub caps are not all the
same and I need some help identifying them. I'm sure I saw something about this in a magazine once but I have no idea where.
There seems to be 4 part numbers in the various catalogues
576060 2.5 PI
811797 GT6
576552 Stag Mk1
824616 Stag Mk2
4 of the hub caps have a steel ring to clip onto the wheel which sticks out noticeably beyond the main part of the cover.
2 of the hub caps have a steel ring which does not stick out beyond the main part of the cover.
2 of the hub caps have a steel ring which does not stick out beyond the main part of the cover, plus they have an elongated hole for the tyre valve,
perhaps this is to clear the valve on a 14" diameter wheel?
If anyone knows which is which please reply!
Cheers

Hi Van
I have been in contact with canley classics asking if they had any rostyle wheel trims for a GT6 mk2 and asked what the difference was between the
triumph cars that had these type of wheel trims.
The gt6 / vitesse wheel trims are the same diameter as the ones on a Stag / 2500.
The ones for a Gt6 / vitesse have a round hole for the valve & the steel ring is about 1/2" deeper than the stag / 2500, they don't have a hole in
the centre for a badge.
The ones for a Stag / 2500 have the elongated valve hole to accomodate 14" wheels and the steel ring is not as deep as the gt6 /vitesse and they have a
hole in the centre for a badge.
Many Thanks
Paul

Reply from Dave Pearson himself on Vitesse message board, if anyone else is interested.
Cheers for the replies.
