I have recently purchased a set of HS6 carbs from a dolomite sprint on a mk3 manifold to put on my gt6 mk2.
I have done a bit of research on the web and have found that most rebuilds have removed the
the throttle discs with the pop valve and replaced with solid ones and replaced the waxstat jets with fixed ones.
I have also found on the TSSC Northen Ireland web site a article on converting the waxstat jets
using 2 one pence coins.
Whats the general recommendation for rebuilding for use on a GT6 mk2
Many thanks
Paul

Yes replace the throttle discs with the non pop valve type and fit the fixed jets.
There are a number of ways of removing the waxstat element and retaining the existing jets, but as these may well be worn it is a good idea to replace
them with new fixed jets.
If you are using free flow air filters then use BAE needles with Green springs.
If you are not using free flow air filters then use the same needles and yellow springs.
