What is the list's view on going back to stock air filters and needles on Stromberg 150s?
At the moment I am running with K&Ns and 7B needles on a tubular exhaust manifold on my Mk1. I am considering ditching these in favour of the standard
airbox, ducting pipes and 6J needles. I'm not convinced you can get the mixture correct through the rev range with the 7Bs, yet supposedly they are a
necessity with K&Ns as they are a richer needle. Interestingly, Burlen list the 7B as the standard needle on a 1600 Vitesse, which seems odd... Ideally
I'd go to HS6s but that isn't an affordable option at the moment, although for future ref how easy is it to set up a pair of HS6s with the early GT6
throttle linkage?
