Hi, can anyone give me a clue, the carbs on my car seem to lose all fuel when the car sits for a day or so (time spent at work or overnight). This results
in the thing not starting unless I either prime the fuel pump or squirt some "start" into the filters. It then starts straight away and causes no further
problems .
It's more a nuisance than a problem but any hints as to a cure (cheap) would be welcomed. As an aside the carbs don't seem to have the mixture adjusting
screws on the bottom which my last ones had.
Cheers
Scotty

Check for a loose connection on the rubber sections of the fuel hose, seems obvious but might help!
On my strombergs the mixture adjusting screw are inside, you need to remove the dashpots for access and a special tool fits down inside for adjustment.
It's very annoying as you can't adjust the mix with the car running!!
Hope it helps!
