help
has anyone come across this problem
i am having dificulty getting my manifold to seal against the head as the down pipes are so close to the head studs. i have had to grind off part of the toggles that fit between the inlet & outlet manifolds, but there is just enough room to get the nut on which leaves no clearence for a socket to fit, any ideas.

That's where the custom tool range comes in - it's called an angle grinder..... use the angle grinder to shorten the length and narrow the width of a spanner, then attend many yoga classes to get nimble enough.......

worked for me (passed on the yoga classes though)

  i was given the same info some years ago, but misheard, went to yoghurt classes and put weight on, but it cleared up an itch i had,

        Van's correct,
        Go to socket head cap screws for your exhaust. But, That's only the half. You must source an Allen wrench, hex key, called a "ball end driver". Cut off the short side and braze that into a socket and HEY PRESTO, it becomes a one hand job. Can't even begin to tell you how easy it becomes.
        Having said that, there is one where I've had to grind the head to the bare minimum to clear the pipe. There's always one, eh? Steve
