Can anyone shed some light on the exact colour of my car.The paint code indicates it started out as wedgewood blue but buying a pot of touch up paint
proved otherwise, wedgewood is far to light. I then tried french blue, which was to dark. I was told that the previous owner had a respray about 12 years
ago so I supose its possible that it is'nt a triumph colour at all, or that it has faded badly, although i've seen lots of pictures on the web site that
appear to be exactly the same colour. I know these touch up pots are not exactly expensive but i'm on to my third pot now and would like to get it
right.
P.S I sorted out my propshaft afted much swearing and cut knuckles, thanks to all for the advice.

guess the colour

I also have a french blue gt6.the last time i had to get some touch up i asked for 50 grammes of white to be added as the colour match was miles
out, this was done at my local paint factors who said it was common for old colours to fade at different rates on different areas on the car.I hope you
all the luck trying to match it spot on.
