Hi
Does anyone know if the transmission tunnel cover of a Herald will fit a MkIII GT6?
Cheers

I don't think it fits - the clutch salve is on the wrong side. Therefor, all the buldges are in the wrong place...

I was chatting to 'Six Spares' at Stafford about tunnels for GT6 and the guy said that his new fibreglass tunnels fit GT6 and Vitesse only and not
to get saddled with any other type.
Moss had a flimsy plastic one and with the rubber sealing strip was close to £100.

Don, All,
That sealing strip. Ages ago, I bought a roll of adhesive backed, closed cell foam about a inch wide and half that thick. Cost - can't remember
but it wasn't £100 or even £10. Stick that along the flange of the cover and it gives a good seal. It has survived
aal the ehat there and at least one sump oil dump without un-sticking.
Got it from 'Lancaster Rubber' who sell all sorts of foam, pipe & tubing in my town - perhaps you have similar near you.

No, it won't. The starter is also on the wrong side... which is probably why one of my Heralds came with a brand new unfitted tunnel cover for a GT6.
If you want a good seal then use sealing strips on the body itself.... they can be easily stuck into all the gaps and contours before the cover is
added.. and if you have a seal on the tunnel cover as well it should mate very well.
