Suspension and steering.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between the front suspension towers / turrets on the Spitfire and those on the GT6?

I picked up a pair of (what I was told were) GT6 turrets at Leatherhead, but I can't see the difference in the parts manuals, and before I go to the effort of sand blasting and re-spraying I wanted to check that they definately are for the GT6.
