i was just wondering if the rotoflex couplings (on a gt6) are reliable.
looking at them, i would say no, they are rubber, is there an upgrade / exchange you can do.

There are some quality issues with the rotoflex couplings currently generally available. If you can get original ones, or some so-called heavy duty
ones (see previous posts on this board) you can consider them reliable. They will need replacing every few years, but providing you inspect them at
intervals and look for signs of cracking and bonding failure between metal and rubber, you won't have a surprise breakdonw on the road.
Some have done splined shafts and CV joint driveshaft conversions. Canley Classics have been on the point of marketing a conversion for some time, but
it's not yet available as far as I know. I suggest you read the Club Triumph discussion group for more info on how others have converted the
driveshafts. (You don't need to be a member to read posts).
