Please can anyone tell me where I can get my hands on the rubber hose that connects the filler cap to the petrol tank in a GT6 mark 3, none of the main
parts suppliers seem to have one. I would even be happy to obtain a good secondhand one.
I know that Practical Classics had a similar problem recently when rebuilding a mark 2, and I believe they modified a Stag one, but these are nearly
£40 to buy from Rimmers and I'm not 100% sure it will do the trick.
Any ideas?

Try Chic Doig on (01592) 722999. If he hasn't got one, he'll know where to get one from. Alternatively, try Mick Dolphin on (01530) 271326, he's pretty
helpful too!

PS part number 154280, shows on Mick Dolphins website at £1.00!!! Apparently the same part used on a Dolomite.

Try Spitfire Graveyard, Spitbitz for a 2nd hand one. I had a similar problem, car ready for the road no connection between tank and filler
cap.

Thanks to all you guys who have offered to help.
Mich Dolphin was very helpful, but the part he had listed at £1 was the breather pipe connection and he could not supply
the fuel pipe I needed.
I have overcome the problem now and bought a second hand one from Chic Doig.
Not cheap at £20 + vat + Post and Packaging. But at least I have one now and can get on with the rebuild.
