Hi, has anyone got a good condition gearlever for a Herald 1200 that is going spare? Mine has damaged chrome and as I am going to rebush the remote control
it makes sense to do all those silly jobs that need doing whilst the tunnel cover is off!

Hi when you re bush the remote make sure the bolt that goes thro the bush on the base of the gearstick is the right way round
if its wrong it can foul the turret extention casing in forth and cause jump outs it also wears a groove it the housing peter

Hi, thanks for that, although there is slim chance of me rebushing it as I cannot find a replacement gearlever that is better than the one
fitted!
