Passenger Seat Frame required- or info

Hi all,

My 1968 Spitfire MKIII has two RH drivers seats fitted which is an obvious inconvience. I'm looking to get hold of a replacement LH frame for the passenger side. I've posted a couple of pics of one. They came with the car, but from the Rimmer catalogue, they look like MK III US highback seats??? (Could also be completely random) Was wondering if anyone had one or had seen one available anywhere. Happy to swap a RH for a LH.

Am I also right that I couldn't put a low-back with a head rest attached and slap the cover on as the sizes are vastly different.

  Can't help with the seat frame, but I would suspect that your search may be a long one, unless you can have any friends across the pond who will bring you one over.
  
  It does looks more like a highback Mk1 GT6 seat to me, still US only though.
  
  I suspect it has 2 RH seats as the LH ones will have had big fat Yanks sat in them for many years, wearing them out, just like UK cars tend to have 2 LH seats in them.

    Thanks Colin. They're nice seats as well so it would be a shame to put others in.
    Well I'm in no hurry so if anyone spots something...
