All ready to go and got some members from South Wales joining us at the Llyswen pickup point. Be grat to see you guys. In fact I think that we may have more members leaving from there than from Ross. Not sure what we'll be in though, 2000 saloon needs front struts for MOT and the TR7 needs... well not much now but still see you then

  So it was wet, very very wet. In fact two rivers had overflowed in the mountains leading to some unexpected wet feet and a Spitfire having it's rear number plate washed off! I kid you not. Big thanks to the 20 or so masochists who joined in the day's drive/paddle and a bigger thanks to Dave Bent for letting Karina and I join him and Rebecca in the Equipe for the day.
  
  Apart from one Vitesse getting a little spluttery after one flooded section and as I said some wet carpts and feet, a great day albeit using plan F by about 4pm. Plans A to E having long since gone out of the window.
  
  We do have some photos and when we dry out the camera, I'll be doing something for the Courier

    A champion event. The rain just added to the dramatic effect. I can recommend this do. You get to see some amazing roads and countryside. Thanks Clive.

  haing lost the number plate on the rear of the spitfire and ending up sat in a 3" deep puddle in the drivers floor (it came in through trough the transmission tunnel and wouldnt drain away (who says spitfire floor pans leak!), great day for all who took part not to be missed next year, but no rain/monsoon please.
  P.S what a pain to get a new number plate now thanks to the great DVLA and their rules and regulations
