Just got back from a scorching weekend in North Yorks courtesy of the West Yorks area. It was a great weekend with lots of good food, good company and good
fun!!.
A big thanks to all who organised the event especially Richard Briscoe!! We even shared bacon and sausage with him this morning which means he must be a
mate!!
Thanks again and looking forward to next year.

I must add that the bacon and sausage was 9.00am. Richard had already been up at least two hours then and this was his second breakfast to wash
down the porridge!!
I think Rogers car of the show should have gone to the cardboard one he made last night!!!!!!!

After sharing our breakfast with us at the Sth Yorks weekend I just think Richard is on a secret mission to find the campers with the best
breakfasts...maybe there is a special award or trophy at an event coming up?
So come on, Rich, what event are you going to next? Do we need to purchase our bacon/sausage at Harrods from now on ?

Next up is Stafford then the Stag National (In a GT6!). I have sampled a number of cooked breakfasts from various members in the last year
(all freely offered I hasten to add and in addition to my own breakfast before anyone infers I'm a scrounger!) and all have been equally
excellent. Perhaps we could get Ainsley Harriot along to Stafford and have a competition?
Don't get the Harrods stuff its just expensive processed c**p anyway!!

Apparently word has it that the only breakfast you did not get invited to was Sophie's and she will not share her bottle with
anyone!!
Maybe at Stafford we have a health kick and just have Muesli (or rabbit food as Ron calls it). On the other hand bacon, egg, sausauge,
beans etc etc. What a wonderful thought after a night of that disgusting stuff they call real ale!

Don't get me started on the Stafford beer (its the best / worst thing about Stafford depending on your point of view!)

Hang on its Ron that reckons YOU get him started on the Stafford beer and he has to drink all night!!!

...and Nigel reckons that he is forced to drink all night too!!!! He doesn't really want to but...

No its definately RON (or maybe Nigel - before Claire starts) who gets me going on the beer! I'd just drink tea if Ron
wasn't leading me astray!
