Hello All
Anybody going to the callander show in scotland on the 29th august?, i hope to see some triumphs to drool over, as my car will not be ready for a long
while yet, and maybe meet some club members, i was peeved off about missing stafford.

I hope to be there on the Sunday Willie but if it keeps raining I'll be wimping out - though if I make it my Spit (pics in my profile) will be out in
the main carpark as I'm not booked into the event. Not show material (yet?) anyway my car.
I'm watching the weather though as I'm somewhat concerned about how sodden the ground will be though - unless we start getting a bit less rain for the
rest of the week those fields will be terrible - the thought of getting the spit out of that field if it gets muddy is the stuff of nightmares.
Unfortunately I don't think there's going to be any TSSC branch representation - but I would be surprised if the wee green Spit 1500 from Kennet isn't
entered in the concourse - if so you'll see the mint-est Spitfire ever - I really can't imagine it can be bettered.
Here's hoping the weather improves.
PS - Graham Cowan expects to be there in his Herald - see earlier thread about the Fife Historic Vehicles Club rally in Fife earlier this year.
Cheers.

Well I showed up after all - got there about 11:30 but the blustery rain didn't make for a pleasant time of it - so a quicker than usual look
round the cars in attendance was all we managed before deciding to go.
Hopefully the weather got a bit better later on and it wasn't too bad getting out the car park - some deep mud was starting to develop when we
left.
Shame - its usually a great day.

Hello Doug
I went to callander classic car show on the saturday morning, arrived about 11.30 and i saw a stream of old classics leaving callander on a
run, i was dissapointed as i had only seen one spitfire in the car park, two heralds and a cracking gt6 at the show, all i did was walk up
and down like an idiot trying to see if any more triumphs would arrive, alas nothing appeared so i left about 4.00pm. i was going up on
sunday, beacause i was told that it was the best day for the show, but the weather in fife was poor so did not bother.
