And yes, before you comment, that is a hard top it is wearing, complete with its very rare internal hood bag.

    Several of them are winners from other events this year.
    The yellow GT6 was the Car of the Show from Stafford this year.
    
    There were three or four stunning cars, and at least 20 other excellent ones, which made judging very difficult.
    
    There was no modified class, but here's a photo that might interest you.
    
    Spitfire, with a Turbo'd and intercooled Dolly Sprint engine with a megasquirt EFI - and an onboard laptop for tuning the engine on the move !

      As a TSSC event virgin (yes that was how I was addressed by the lovely ladies in the TSSC stall!) I must say I had a vey enjoyable day.
      
      First impressions of the club are very favourable.
      
      Friendly welcome, plenty plenty plenty good advice and a great atmosphere.
      
      Thanks to Steve BTM 77L however we never did get my bonnet open after I adjusted the catch yesterday :-/
      My GT6 behaved itself there and back home even after getting jealous while I paid homage to a superb GT6 DPO 679L. What a fantastic paint job; many thanks for the encouragement and advice.
      
      20 GT6's today - I'm already looking forward to Stafford next year.
      
      Fitting my newly purchased angled oil nipples for my GT6 front suspension first thing tomorrow. May need tweaking a bit but that's what nipples are for I suppose!

        what a great show a fantastic turn out and some lovely motors uot in the sun .i think this has to be one the best small shows we attend and have enjoyed it for years .yesterday was the first time ive managed to get to the hangars , what aloss it would be not to have a show with so much other interseting things to see as well as ours an other makes of cars .ieven managed to get my sis and hubby to come to theire first car show and they loed the whole thing

        Another great day out a Duxford, I've been there about 10 times now and still really enjoy the show and museum. I wouldn't want to miss this event and it makes great close to the TSSC show season.
        
        Thanks to Herts and Beds for another great show, I'm really glad you were able to take over this event from the Essex area a few years back as it deserves to be kept going. I hope the area didn't make a loss with the new gate money arrangements imposed by the museum, I certainly bought a few more strips of raffle tickets then normal to try and give you some support.

        Thoroughly enjoyed this event, great venue too ! I had a sort of half-ar*ed idea that we would be near the main entrance with all the cars parked under the wings of classic aircraft! Must be getting a bit misty eyed in my middle age
        Very well organised, I thought, this was my first ever all triumph event despite having owned a GT6 in the past. The local club back then put me off ever spending time with other Triumph owners (long story!)
        Very friendly club atmosphere, but where does the time go, first time I looked at my watch it was 1p.m.
        Hello to fellow GT6 owner Nige, good talking to ya bud.
        Well I am hooked, here is one new (ish) member who is going to look forward to Stafford, and other shows, next year.
        Quality of cars was amazing, really gives you something to set your sights on, only thing is, now my car has proved to be somewhat reliable -touchwood- over a longish journey, I don't want to take it to bits during the winter, still, no pain, no gain I suppose.
        Hope to be at Duxford again next year, long may it continue.

        I'm not sure it's the easiest of engine conversions, but here's a picture of the Sprint engine in a Herald / Vitesse engine bay.
