    It does look very good indeed!
    I researched it all last year - cost about &163;300 on the ferry (car and passengers) if you book in advance, from Newcastle. You don't have to get a ferry back from the same place, either, so you can do a horseshoe tour and come back from t'other port. I had an excellent route planned, until a month before my co-driver dropped out
    
    I planned to go this year too - especially as the Norwegian TSSC make such an effort to come to Stafford ... but i can't make that weekend.

      I went last year and had a great (but wet) weekend.
      A very nice and enthusiastic bunch.
      
      I thought about going on the ferry as one of the guys was exporting a car at the time but in the end took the plane to save time and money.
      
      Ryanair fly to an airport two hours south of Oslo (the same fib that is London Luton Airport!). But since the event is south east of Oslo its relatively easy to get to by coach and train.
      
      Ryanair do some good deals and I managed a return for 2p + tax, I guess it might have been a one-off but keep looking at their internet site.
      
      Norway is a beautiful country and there is plenty to do, be warned though that it is very expensive compared to the UK.
