After owning my triumph since 98 it's time to let her go due to family life & an impending house move.
Though i wasn't anticipating selling her til the spring i am thinking about going along to Stoneleigh.
Very briefly as composing this from work.....1971 mk2 vitesse (brooklands green) black interior, Agreed triumph valuation £4500
few spares, open to sensible offers.

Mmmmm don't quite understand this. Do you mean sell the car next year? Stoneleigh has just taken place. Maybe you want to advertise the car in the
classified section?
Cheers, Neil

Nope, I don't understand it either, unless of course he is thinking of bucking the trend and taking it to the MG (sorry for swearing) show this
weekend.......
Would be different thats for sure......

Guys
Thanks for your mindless quips!!
But according to the 'Events Calendar' there is a show at Stoneleigh on the 24th - 26th feb 06, this date of course is still in the present
& not in the past yet.
Of course if the dates are wrong on the Events calendar then maybe turn your attention to advising the TSSC to amend their data

Apologies!
What we were trying to intimate is that the best show to have taken your Vitesse to, the one that is generaly referred to in Triumph
circles as just 'Stoneleigh', was the one last weekend.
There is also one next weekend, which is the one the MG crowd just call 'Stoneleigh' and as you say, one the week after.
There is also a very good Kit Car Show in May, that is known to kit car owners as just 'Stoneleigh'.
It means different things to different people, who drive different cars.
Your best bet may be the Spring Restoration show in MArch as you are more likely to get a receptive audience.

Jason, I am not sure that either response was a 'mindless quip' but did obviously your original post did baffle us and probably others.
There have been lots of posts on the messageboard about Stoneleigh and how many people did enjoy the auto-jumble (etc). Hence, it was a
little odd to see your post talking about the prospect of selling your car at this show. If you read the posts again you will see that
advice was given about how best to advertise your car including putting an ad in the Classified section which will also mean it gets
into the Club Mag (etc).
If you choose to get miffed by the 'tone' of our answers then you being a little up tight.
I intended no offense by the tone of my post and will, in future, keep things to myself.
I wish you luck in selling your car or whatever you decide to do with it.
Regards, Neil

Jason, I also noted that your original post was shown as Stoneleigh 6th February unless that was changed by someone else which also
added to the confusion. I have to agree with you that the events calendar does show 26th so it is all very confusing.

Yeah i mentioned Feb 06, meaning feb (year 06)...as there were plenty of posts about previous years.
In view of the 1st two replies to my original question & their subsequent responses i think it may be best to leave it til
the spring.
I am based in the Mids, any good triumph shows to display my car?
Thanks in anticipation
