Paul, I'm only a Sunday go'er too, could do a convoy! which mode of transport might you be using? bug or custard?-

vin,i'm happy to report that it will be custard as it passed the mot after 4 years without problem and i've sort of got it running.as long as it's not p*ss*ng down with rain of course.post some thing nearer the day regards times etc.

vin,
the weather forecast is somewhat grim for sunday so i've decided to change my schedule and will be trying to go on saturday and meet the rest of essex at thurrock for the drive down,......still,considering the british weather who knows what it will be like on the day!

Mark that's nowt, i set my alarm for 5.30am AND have to drive half way round the M25 during the week as i work IN Leatherhead!
Paul, no worries, weather is iffy. Last year I based the decision to take the spitfire on looking at the BBC weather satellite moving pictures on the web, one large cloud predicted to go close to Leatherhead, risked it and just got a light smattering on Sunday (the Saturday was torrential rain by all accounts)
