By 1.45 mine was the only GT6 at SEM today. There were still 15 Vitesses for quite some time after that. At best there were only 4 (or maybe 5) GT6s.

Where were all the GT6s ?

It's got so bad for me that when I rang Rimmer Bros yesterday, they laughed when I mentioned "...Mark One GT6?"!!!

My plans to attend SEM with my GT6 got totally scuppered at about 1 am Friday morning when my wife got rushed to hospital by ambulance with chest
pains. Luckily she seems to be OK but they are keeping her in until Monday so I've got both kids to look after and hospital visiting to do so no chance
of getting along to SEM this year and even if I could squeeze the time in no chance of getting both kids in a GT6 safely. I was looking forward to it,
camping gear was already got ready and car cleaned.......
Oh well roll on the GT6 40th Birthday celebrations at Stafford then.....

Still, you can just about replace a good car......
Andy, go to bed you have responsibilities - oh and the wife and kids,

To be fair to people the SEM on Saturday always has a lower turn-out than the Sunday.

Not helped by the weather though. I was there early on in my spitfire and the field was filling nicely, then emptied rather quickly as the
rain came down and looked like staying. We must have left shortly after your picture was taken. Shame as it was our first visit to the SEM,
other members had told us it always rains at the SEM and they are visiting today. Still looks like rain.

Yes we left when it started to rain as we wanted to get back with the hood down. We were using Mary's Gitfire.
As for rain at SEM, it has only been a problem in the last few years.

Must have been at least 20 there Sunday - and, Mr Van, there were at least six there Saturday, mine included (I was there both
days, but then again I am only 16 miles away!) - can I stand the rattle, heat, noise and discomfort to get to Stafford? I'd
like to think so! Congrats to Guy and Suzie for a splendid weekend (apologies for leaving early Sunday to watch 'The Arse' nip
4th place! Hoorah!).
