General Dolomite messages

Hello

I need some help to do an engine swap on my Dolomite 1850.

The car is currently at my garage in Yeadon, West Yorkshire just near to Leeds. I would rather not pay them £200 to £300 to fit a new engine, and would be keen if someone nearby could help be do it in exchange for lunch and a few pints.

I have had very gracious offers of assistance and engines from people who live quite far away. Unfortunatly the least expensive figure I have had for towing my car to these places is £250.00.

Is there anyone in the West Yorkshire area who is willing to let me have my Dolomite towed to thier house and can provide the tools and technical knowhow to fit my new engine?

Please be advised that I have very limited technical experience and would be quite dependant upon the skills of a willing volunteer.
